We have had such a fantastic August and September here in Hereford, Texas. August was filled with rainy days and nights and cooler temperatures. September temperatures have been so pleasant and mild. There's beginning to be a crispness to the early morning air.....lets you know Autumn is right around the corner.
The Autumn feel inspired us to get a head start on some fall crafts. We enjoyed making and displaying our Patriotic Shabby Flags so much, we decided to make one for Autumn. although not your traditional fall colors, blends perfectly with the pink impatiens, chartreuse' and deep purple potato vine, and the purple and fuchsia coleus found in our yard.
How about this flag all dressed in purple and orange? Can't you just see it surrounded by purple and fuchsia kale and winter cabbage, a tub full of pumpkins and perhaps a shock of corn or feed....so many possibilities!
