We wanted to share some jewelry cabinets we transformed. These are great little pieces and can be used in so many ways (they don't have to just house your jewelry). The two decoupage cabinets were purchased right after Christmas from Kirkland's. They were 75% off!!! What a bargain, right?
Using Mod Podge, scrapbooking paper, tissue paper, Hobby Lobby knobs (at 50% off of course), and a small amount of acrylic craft paint, we got busy ...
These type knobs can be purchased at: http://www.hobbylobby.com/search/?text=knobs
We bought our Mod Podge at Hobby Lobby: http://www.hobbylobby.com/Scrapbook-Paper-Crafts/Glues-Adhesives/Liquid/Mod-Podge-Matte/p/80649316
Aren't they wonderful? They turned out so differently. Guess that says something about our personalities.
This little piece was found at a furniture exchange shop for only $25.00. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Then I saw a painting class being offered by Heeter Designs in Amarillo, Texas. You had to supply your own piece of furniture, so I signed up and took my little jewelry cabinet. Just look at how great it turned out. I just love it.
Furniture can so easily be transformed with just a bit of paper, paint, and a little imagination. It can be made to emulate your style and your home décor. Hope these pieces inspire you to create your own little master piece.
